Volunteer Services Departmental Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Volunteer Services Department is to maximize the ministry efforts of Promise Keepers through volunteer services, striving for excellence in volunteer management nationally and internationally.

Welcome from National Volunteer Services
Welcome!! We are anticipating great things from God throughout the 19 U.S. cities we'll be visiting in 2006 with our all-new 'Unleashed' program. One of the key elements of every event is the outpouring of assistance from our volunteers. Promise Keepers realizes that the largest work force in the world is that of volunteers throughout churches within the United States. We know and trust that by sacrificing our personal time to help further the kingdom of God that He will be faithful and bless us in unfathomable ways.

Volunteering is close to the heart of God. It represents the selfless, caring, giving qualities to which Christians are called. It suggests a sense of family where a growing relationship with Christ leads to the overflow of love from which we live our lives to positively influence others with the love of God. The work can be hard and the hours are long. Many labor in obscurity, making sacrifices that only the Lord can know, but 'Blessed "

I believe it was on this 19 city tour that Rodney and Sarah were present. Hope you'll leave a report here Rodney.

Belleville News-Democrat | 05/22/2006 | 'Inchon' was a real disaster flick

Belleville News-Democrat 05/22/2006 'Inchon' was a real disaster flick: "Q. I'm hoping you can help me. I was stationed in Korea in the late 1970s and they were filming a movie there with Vince Edwards and Jacqueline Bisset. I believe 'Inchon' was the title.
-- Doug Cholet of O'Fallon
A. Wow, what could make a more exciting, riveting movie than the U.S. invasion of Inchon that started Sept. 15, 1950?
Well, in this case, apparently just about anything.
'One of the worst movies of all times,' a typical review -- this one in TV Guide -- says of this film fiasco that was the brainchild of Unification Church leader the Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Japanese newspaper publisher Mitsuharu Ishii."

Amazing! the main-stream, drive-by, Al-Qaida loving media still feels like they have a mission against anything Moon. Why? Give it a rest. The movie was made in the 70's. R e a l l y!
